Mr.Christian specializes in Vietnamese culture and is currently based in his native Vietnam. He has 24 years of practical international experience in the intercultural field, among which 16 years in Vietnam, gained by living and working with multicultural and multilingual teams across 11 countries.In 1991-92, after achieving 2 Master Diplomas in Business Administration and Political Science in Paris, Christian worked in Hanoi as a Linguistic Attaché for the French Embassy. He taught French for different Universities and was responsible for training programs in 4 provinces of North Vietnam. In 2009, Christian first worked as an English and French (IDECAF) teacher before becoming recruitment Senior Manager for Navigos Group, managing a team of 8; one of his major tasks was to manage, build, coach and develop the soft skills of his Vietnamese team. In 2010, he was teaching Business and Corporate English for a bank, and two private language and Business schools. He works with the corporate sector as a freelancer, but also with training companies in Vietnam, consulting in HR, training, recruitment, designing and implementing corporate trainings. In May 2011 he was appointed by the CEO of the French company Officience, one of his former clients, as the position of Interim Head of Business Unit, managing a team of 27 Vietnamese staff and Managers.
Dr. Giap Van Duong received his Bachelor of Engineering from Hanoi University of Technology in 1999; A Master Degree of Engineering from Chonbuk National University (South Korea) in 2002; and a Doctorate Degree from Vienna University of Technology (Austria) in 2006. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Vienna University of Technology (Austria, 2006-2007) and the University of Liverpool (UK, 2007-2010), prior to joining the National University of Singapore (Singapore, 2010-2012) as a research scientist. His areas of expertise include magnetic materials, material physics and nanophysics. In 2013, he returned to Vietnam to start his education projects, including GiapSchool, Books4Experts and Books4Children.

She earned a Ph.D. from the College of Education, National Chi Nan University, Taiwan. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, John graduated from College of Marin (AA), San Francisco State University (BA), and the University of Hawaii, at Manoa, with an MED in Counseling and Development and a PHD in Educational Policy Studies. Through most of his career in education, John worked as a school counselor in public schools within the Hawaii Department of Education. He has also worked briefly within the University of Hawaii (UH) system, including at the main campus at Manoa. Currently, John is active as a commissioner for the Hawaii Commission for National and Community Service, better known as AmeriCorps Hawaii and has recently been reappointed to that position by Governor Abercrombie. Concurrently, John is in the process of establishing an emerging non-profit corporation, as a United States arm of an NGO assisting students in Viet Nam. Leisure time is spent enjoying travel, water aerobics, reading, swimming, discussion, Asian study, and working out in a fitness center.

Ms. Ngoc is a former Lecturer of Hanoi University of Education. Besides her teaching experience, Ms. Ngoc has extensive experience in educational consulting services. She has consulted for both International NGO and government agencies: Enfant & Development (France), Save the Children, World Vision, Church World Service, Non-governmental organization resource center, Pascal Multi-grade school, FPT lower secondary school, and Hanoi University of Education No. 2. Dr. Thao Nguyen received his Ph.D. degree in Anthropology from the University of Hawaii' at Manoa, USA. He obtained his under graduate in Ethnology in 1998 from National University of Hanoi; and a Master Degree in Anthropology in 2005 from University of Hawaii' at Manoa. His professional affiliates include National Institute of Anthropology and Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. He’s interested in cultural plurality, cultural changes, rural development & ethnic minority peoples in multi-ethnic societies.
Associate Professor of Education in the Department of Educational Foundations, College of Education, the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Dr. Phan Le Ha also holds adjunct and honorary positions at Monash University in Australia and Vietnam National University Hanoi. She has also been appointed Visiting Professorship at the University of Reading, UK. As the founder of Engaging with Vietnam Initiative she has brought together scholars, researchers, policy makers, diplomatic officials and the general public to collaboratively and critically engage with knowledge production and scholarship building, related to Vietnam. Mr. O’Brien is currently Head of Humanities at Minaret College, Victoria, Australia.
Holds a Master Degree in International Educational Development, with a major in Technology, Literacy and Languages from Columbia University, New York, USA. She has nine years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language in upper secondary schools, and early in her career was awarded an excellent teacher award for using ICT in her everyday practice. Recently, she has worked as Teacher Training Coordinator for the Brussels-based Flemish Association for Technical Assistance and Development Cooperation (VVOB), where she was responsible for the organization and implementation of teacher and managerial professional development. This included diverse roles such as training University Rectors in leadership. She has published three books on education, edited several books in innovative methodologies, and presented many research papers at national and international conferences. She has participated in educational monitoring and evaluation work for VVOB, including a recent accreditation visiting team to Zambia. She has taught varied Master’s level and other courses related to Technology, Research, Innovative Methodology and Leadership. She is currently an adjunct instructor for Master of Education program at Endicott College, USA.
